The John B. Amos Cancer Center in Columbus, GA is the only oncology center in the region to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. It is the only cancer treatment center with this designation in the 14-county service area around Columbus, GA. Plus, an expansion and renovation project is currently underway at the cancer center, which doubles our capacity when completed.


All oncology doctors at our cancer treatment center are board-certified in their respective fields. They provide cancer care and lead a team of dedicated professionals who guide patients through cancer treatment. This team may include additional cancer specialists, clinical researchers, case manager associates, clinical counselors, pharmacists, radiation physicists and therapists, oncology- and chemotherapy-certified nurses and registered dietitians.
